The spiritual laws of success
There are said to be some universal or spiritual laws that when practiced can lead to more abundance and a more fulfilling life. I have personally practiced a few of them but cannot claim to have experienced all of them so I will detail the main ones below of which there are , according to Deepak Chopra anyway, seven.
The law of pure potentiality
This law states that we are all spiritual beings that are capable of pure consciousness and therefore pure potentiality, that is we are of infinite mind and therefore of infinite creativity which allows us to utilize this intelligence to attract and shape our own personal realities much similar to the attraction books that are popular at the moment.
Everything that has ever been created came from this intelligent field of pure consciousness that has the power to create your individual destiny if you believe it and allow it to. This pure consciousness or potentiality is the one source of all. It is the same power that nature uses to create a forest so there is no reason to suppose it cannot create many other things. It is hard to imagine pure consciousness but if you take up meditation you can experience it at some point. I originally did Transcendental meditation and I experienced pure consciousness after a few weeks.of practice.
The law of giving and receiving
This is based on the fact that everything in life depends and operates on dynamic exchange. Giving as well as receiving are different aspects of the universal flow of energy and if we stop giving for instance we will interfere with that flow of energy. If we do that then money and other things will also stop flowing to us. We therefore give and receive to keep money and other things circulating in our lives. So if you want love or kindness from someone then you have to give kindness and love in order to receive. This is similar to the article on tithing It's a little known secret that if you give it comes back to you in some form.
The law of Karma or cause and effect
This is based on cause and effect or what you put out comes back to you. We have all heard the expression "sow and you shall reap". Well this law is based on that. What you put out returns again.
The law of least effort
This law is based on the fat that if you observe nature it always does what it needs to do with minimal effort. If a plant grows then it just grows in the simplest way, it doesn't find a complex way to grow, it just grow straight up. As humans we tend to do things in overly complex ways at times that can lead to unnecessary stress and overwehelm. With this law it's a case of doing less and accomplishing more. See also the 80/20 principle article this is why it is important to find out what is right for you in a career because then you expend minimal energy on becoming successful. When you do something that is completely right for you it actually seems effortless and that has been the case for me when I changed my career some years ago now.
The law of detachment
This law states that if we require something we set up the intention of having it and as long as we are specific about it we then relinquish any attachments to it otherwise we simply become desperate for it and the universe is not going to reward desperation because the desperation is really doubt in disguise and a poverty type of consciousness. It indicates that we are grasping for something rather than letting it materialize naturally.
So the trick is to have one pointed intention but give up our attachment o the outcome.
The law of dharma or right purpose
This law believes that we are all spiritual beings who have a purpose, or dharma, as it is known. It states that we are all here to discover our true selves and share our gifts and talents with others in order to enrich their lives. When we are expressing our true selves and talents we simply lose track of time and this is how we know we have tapped into our true calling.
