Image Streaming
If we want to increase out potential especially of the brain and mind and make more of our natural gifts there is one technique that stands out from the crowd, it is a little known method that gives great results if praxtised diligently for at least a few months. the technique is called 'image streaming' and can be used to increase communication flow betwen the two braqin hemispheres and thus increae memory, recall, intuition and actually heighten intelligence in one simple exercise.
Image streaming works by activating many different areas of your brain from both sides at the same time which means that all the various 'poles' of
your brain are awakened and stretched and firing simultaneously which when practised regularly stimulate all these areas and stronger connections
are formed between the hemispheres resulting in greater exchanges of information and quicker recall of stored data.
The so called pole-bridging effect can be seen in the diagram below.
Lets discover how to do this then.
First of all you will have to activate your own image stream. Approximately 70% of the population are visual thinkers, this means when they think they can see pictures and images easily in their minds. however a few people are not too visual. A good way for all to start is to close your eyes tightly and then relax them and be aware of any images or even basic shapes that float by or just spontaneousuly find their way into your minds eye.
Once you are sure that you can genertae images ( or that they are in fact there in the first palce) it is time to image stream. You will reuqire a small recording device such as a hand held digital or tape dictating machine which is excellent for the job. Now as you see the images stream across or through your mind you must dictate aloud into the recording machine what it is you see. Some images will move very fast but in a short time will slow down enough for you to start describing them aloud into your recorder. You must describe them aloud, this is very important to the effectiveness of this.echnique. The reason for this is because when you describe any object, imagined or real, at the same time as you are describing it the very act of description focuses your attention in such a way that you percieive more and more detail of the object you are describing. Describing aloud an object or image to an external focus actually aids this process tremendously by adding an additional effect of reinforcement.
So keep describing the images and pictures as they continue to drift through your awareness however how you desrcibe them is important as we need to make sure that they we are describing them using as many senses as possible, it is this that will enable the firing of so many areas of the brain at the same time which will lead to the chosen effect. For example if you see a tree you must describe it visually and then describe its feel and maybe even its smell and what sounds are present even if you have to over-imagine a little more. Some images you may even taste in order to add to the rich description but you must remember to describe using all the senses. You may wish to add another sense each time you have a practice session rather than try to do it all at once.
I suggest strongly that you say your descriptive statements in the present tense like "I now see such -and such" rather than "I saw such- and -such". The image stream is self-reinforcing and each statement you make that is descriptive serves to keep the stream going. Start off with just ten minutes of image streaming and after about one week bring it up to fifteen minutes for another week until twenty minutes feels confortable over a few weeks. You will start to realaize the benefits after a few weeks of practice.
In a nutshell you are observing your thought stream of images with eyes closed and describing this perception aloud to an external focus such as another person or a small tape recording device such as a dictating machine. This process draws ever larger portions of unconscious thought into focused attention which then feeds back into your consciousness which fairly quickly strengthens and imporoves memeory, recall and shrapens your intuition very highly.

Experiments performed by Dr. Charles Reinart, a physics professor at Southwest State University in Minnesota, showed that out of 79 students who took part in a test of accelerated learning techniques some of whom used image streaming before the test and increased thier IQ level by 0.9 points per hour compared to satudents who just used the Whimbey program, a standard exercise to increase analytical skills. Other tests not published yet also show this effect from image streaming. When done over a few months or longer substantial gains in intelligence can be made.
