The Confidence Builder
Confidence boosting is something evryone needs from time to time. Below is a very good way of boosting your confidence whenever you need it but if you do the program below everyday and make it part of your routine you will see a qualititive rise in your confidence levels after a few weeks of doing it.
The Confidence Chain Technique
Please read through the exercise once before actually doing it.
Firstly imagine a time when you were feeling even a little bit confident, perhaps during your work day or ata social event or in your personal life. . Even if its only small. OK, picked one, good, now step back into that memory and see what you saw there at the time, as you begin to see the memory its easier for your confident feeling to return.
Now imagine a slightly more confident you just standing in front of you. close your eyes if you need to. Step fully into that more confident you and feel the feelings even more.
Now notice that right in front of you is an even more confident you and as your feelings build step again into that confident you and really feel that building in you. Good.
Notice that in front of you is an even more confident you (remember to pick a memeory from the past if you need too). Step into that person again and see thru thier eyes and fel those wonderful feelings again but this time you are a little bit taller and bigger, with a little bit more charisma radiating from you. See yourself with more power, more passion, more confidence and really feel it deeply and don't stop until you feel this even more than before.

OK, thats great. Now second exercise.
The Mirror Technique (or looking thru the eyes of someone who loves you as it is also known)
OK now imagine or better still go to a mirror, preferably a full length one. Look at yourself and then think about someone who loves you dearly, maybe your partne, a parent or close friend.
For a few minutes step into thier shoes and imagine that they are looking abck at you thru that mirror. Whilst still imagining you are the other person think about how much you love and like this other person (you. When you have done that step back into yourself and just recieve that love without questioning it at all. Just know and feel what it is like to be loved that way for a short while. Be aware of how you feel about yourself now, how good that feels.
Success Highlight Movie
Now I would like you to sit or lie down somewhere comfortable and when you are relaxed I would like you to just start to think about past successess in your life. did you win anything? Did you come top in anyhting? Did you do well in an area, anyhting at all, start to think about all those successes and then put them into a movie in your mind. See yourself acheiving all those things or having a success with whatever it was. See them all linked together as a movie in your mind and be aware of the feelings that doing that engenders.
At the end of these three exercises you should be feeling in a much more pronounced state of confidence, you can do these whenever you want but if you did them everyday aftr a few weeks you would find your confidence levels soaring as you simply reinforce these daily habits.
Lastly if you are out and about and need a quick confidence boost try this:
Ask yourself "if i was confident how would I stand, what would my posture be, how would someone I know who's confident stand"
And then ask yourself "how would my voice sound if i was confiudent, how does someones voice sound I know who's confident"
Try this on and see what happens.
